• Computer Networking & Security

  • Are computers your thing? Earning a diploma or Associate degree in Computer Networking and Security (CNS) at Anthem College can help students compete for entry-level positions in technical support, computer repair, and network and computer technology. Our career-focused programs include courses on networking concepts; desktop support; A+ hardware, software and peripherals; and Linux and Windows administration. New students receive a tool kit with screwdrivers, pliers, cabling crimpers, strippers, cable tester and other supplies they will use in the program. Students in the Associate program also take general education courses and receive additional training in routing, switching, security and wide-area networks (WAN). The additional education can prepare Associate degree program graduates to work with non-technical staff and potentially compete for advanced systems, specialist, and network positions as they gain experience in the field.

• Dental Assisting

  • Polish your future with Dental Assistant training at Anthem College! Students interested in our Dental Assistant program can earn a diploma or Associate degree at Anthem College. Anthem College gives students real-world training that helps them prepare to compete for entry-level clinical and administrative dental positions, such as chairside assistant or dental receptionist. Our comprehensive curriculum combines clinical and administrative courses that teach students the skills they may need to succeed. Students receive hands-on training in laboratory procedures, chairside skills and radiography. They also take professional development and administrative courses in thinking, communications, and risk management. Students in both programs are required to complete a professional externship, which gives them real-world experience in a supervised setting.

• Electronics Technology

  • Do you love technology? Students with an interest in electronics can earn an Associate degree in Electronics Technology at Anthem College. Anthem College delivers career-focused training in essential skills that can help program graduates compete for entry-level positions in the engineering, biotechnology, electronics, automation and telecommunications fields. Armed with tools of the trade - including screwdrivers, pliers, cabling crimpers, strippers and cable tester - students get hands-on training in electronic circuitry, soldering and cabling; controller programming; digital devices; and solid state, wireless and biomedical technologies. Students also can learn to use industry-standard hardware and software, and take general education courses covering psychology, composition and communications.

• Health Information Management

  • Want to work in healthcare? Students can earn a diploma or Associate degree in Health Information Management (HIM) at Anthem College to learn the foundations in billing, coding, and electronic health record knowledge and technological skills. These skills can help them compete for entry-level healthcare positions in hospitals, clinics, physicians’ offices and other related facilities. HIM students can learn medical terminology and body systems and support. They also receive hands-on training in medical office procedures, health information technologies, and medical billing and coding. The curriculum includes two externship requirements that students complete after finishing their coursework. The externships give students the chance to gain real-world experience in a professional environment.

• Limited Scope X-Ray Technician

  • Discover an exciting new career! Earning a diploma or Associate degree in Limited Scope X-Ray Technician at Anthem College can prepare students to compete for entry-level positions in hospitals, medical offices, and other healthcare settings. Students can learn anatomy of different areas of the body and positioning for specific body types. They also receive hands-on training in patient care, radiologic techniques and radiation safety. All students can complete an externship in a medical facility that gives them the chance to practice their skills in a professional environment and gain real-world experience.

• Massage Therapy

  • Rejuvenate your career with massage therapy training! Massage therapy is used to treat soft tissue injuries and stress in addition to acting as a preventative measure for similar ailments. The diploma and Associate degree programs in Massage Therapy at Anthem College provide training in different massage modalities that can help graduates compete for positions in clinic, spa and sport facilities. Students take a business class where they can learn about hygiene and ethics and may become CPR-certified. Professional skill courses cover sport, facial, geriatric and traditional Swedish massage, as well as trigger point therapy. The externship requirement gives students the chance to practice their skills in a real-world environment and gain valuable professional experience.

• Medical Assistant

  • Jumpstart your healthcare career! The diploma and Associate degree programs in Medical Assistant at Anthem College can prepare students to compete for entry-level clinical and administrative positions in healthcare facilities. Medical assisting students can learn about anatomy, physiology and medical terminology, and receive hands-on training in administrative and clinical procedures, such as injections, venipuncture, and preparing medical records. Associate degree students take general education courses and develop professional communication skills in the areas of composition, speech communication and healthcare compliance. The externship requirement includes two externship courses that provide students with valuable real-world experience and a chance to practice their skills in a professional environment.

• Medical Billing & Coding

  • The medical billing and coding field is growing and paving the way for new medical office technologies. Anthem College offers diploma and Associate degree programs in Medical Billing & Coding that trains students to keep track of the finance-related business activities of a healthcare facility and compete for entry-level positions in the field. Students can learn about health information technology and are trained in coding practices, medical records, documentation and medical office procedures. Students participate in an externship, as well. The externship provides additional practice and valuable on-the-job experience.

• Paralegal

  • Jumpstart your legal career! Students who earn a Paralegal Associate degree from Anthem College can be prepared to compete for entry-level legal positions, such as documents clerk, legal assistant, court clerk, title clerk and research assistant. Students receive hands-on training in legal research and related electronic technologies and can learn about different types of law, including business, civil, criminal, estate and family law. Our comprehensive curriculum also covers general studies topics such as communications, psychology, computer applications and composition.

• Pharmacy Technician

  • Treat your career ills with pharmacy technology training! Students interested in training as a pharmacy technician can earn a diploma or Associate degree at Anthem College, which can prepare them to compete for an entry-level pharmacy position. Our comprehensive curriculum covers techniques and knowledge needed to succeed in a pharmacy environment. Students receive hands-on training in clinical skills such as filling prescription orders; preparing compounded, unit and IV dosages; and preparing dietary and herbal supplements. They can also learn administrative skills such as inventory control, ordering procedures and stocking practices. Students enrolled in the Associate program also take courses that help develop their management and business skills, which can potentially lead to supervisory roles as they gain experience in the field. These courses cover human relations, critical thinking, problem solving, computer applications, financial principles and risk management. All students are required to complete an externship after finishing their coursework. The externship provides real-world experience in a professional, supervised setting.

• Surgical Technologist

  • Prep for a challenging career in healthcare! The diploma and Associate degree programs in Surgical Technologist at Anthem College train students to compete for entry-level positions at surgicenters and hospitals. Students get hands-on training that can help them compete for entry-level jobs in worksites where they are expected to have mastered very specific skills. Examples include sterilizing instruments and setting them up for surgery, preparing and receiving instruments from the surgical team, and making sure that all instruments all accounted for after surgery. Courses that cover orthopedic, cardiovascular, special and general surgery, ethics, and related surgical issues like life and death in the OR, provide students with a solid foundation in the field. After completing all their coursework, students can complete supervised externships where they have the chance get further training and real-world experience.

• Veterinary Technology

  • Turn your love of animals into a rewarding career! The Associate degree program in Veterinary Technology helps students prepare to compete for entry-level positions at animal hospitals and veterinary practices. Students can learn the essential skills of veterinary technology through hands-on instruction in diagnostic and laboratory testing, radiography, vaccine preparation, nursing, and prepping animals for surgery. They also take courses on animal nutrition, animal anatomy and physiology, parasitology, and exotic animals, in addition to general education courses covering composition, psychology and communication.
